$240 of $550 raised
“I first joined the Angleton Fire Department in 2008 because I wanted to be someone my kids could look up to and be proud of. As a Christian, I also felt led to serve my community. I soon fell in love with being a firefighter and earned a deep respect for the guys along side me and all those who came before us.
I ended up leaving the department after 5 years. But by that time, it was in my blood. Hearing sirens or smelling smoke, made me miss it more and more. So with the encouragement of family, friends and most definitely, my new wife, I returned to the department in March of 2018. I feel as though I never left. People have come and gone, but the love for our community and the fire department has never changed. I wouldn’t trade this part of me for the world.”
